Heath Holdaway
CEO
As CEO of Sutter Masonry, Heath is involved in the overall direction of the company. He has nearly 30 years of experience in commercial, residential and industrial masonry construction. Heath is also the owner and president of IMS Masonry, Inc. based in Utah. With that experience and his entrepreneurial spirit he’s able to help execute the company’s strategic plan. He believes that success is attributed to the strength and dedication of the entire team; employees, customers and trade partners. He helps lead both companies by striving to give customers the excellence they have come to expect – Safety, Quality, and Production.

Adam Waltho
President
Adam has over 20 years’ construction experience from all across North America and has worked in every facet of masonry operations: laborer, operator, estimator, project manager, operations manager, and vice president. He loves complex, highly technical construction projects that showcase the craftsmanship and versatility of the masonry trade. In his role as president, Adam oversees preconstruction, project management, client relations, and new trade partner opportunities.

Aimee Sutter
Director of Business Operations
Aimee earned her B.S. in Construction Management from Arizona State University and, in 2008, joined the family business. “I guess it’s in my blood,” she says. “I remember my mom and dad doing billings in our old guest bedroom as a kid, I would beg them to let me help.” Today Aimee manages many aspects of our operations, including contracts, material purchasing and employee safety.

Cary Zieg
Senior Project Manager
Cary joined Sutter in 2019. His entire adult life has been spent in the masonry trade and he has been fortunate to work across the western half of North America, including almost a decade in his home state of Nebraska where he owned and operated a successful company. He became a journeyman mason 30 years ago and is still passionate about the tradecraft and the masonry business. He loves Arizona and the surrounding desert and enjoys being lost on a mountain trail somewhere in a Jeep.

Peter Heikkila
Project Estimator & Manager
Peter joined our team in 2013. “I’m excited by the constant challenges,” he says, “I like being part of the construction process.” Peter is a CMU and Stone Estimator and manages each project from start to finish. He’s also an avid cyclist and pro-sports fan who can talk sports non-stop.

Jack Sutter
Superintendent
Jack has been a member of our team since day one, 25 years ago. In his role as Superintendent, Jack oversees CMU, Stone and FireRock field operations, including quality construction, scheduling, safety and personnel coordination. “I love seeing a customer’s dream come to life,” he says. “Being part of all that hard work is extremely fulfilling.”

Mike Gray
Safety Manager
Mike has almost 50 years of masonry experience and has been part of the Sutter Team since 2001. In Mike’s current role as Safety Manager, Mike oversees all safety management including jobsite inspections and employee training. The most important thing he ensures every day is that everyone goes home safely to their families at the end of the day. Mike is also passionate about teaching masonry to the next generation of masons and is an instructor for the AMCA apprenticeship program.

Erica Medina
Accounts Payable/Receivable
Manager
Erica joined our team in 2008. “I love the opportunity to learn new things,” she says. “I started as a temporary receptionist and worked my way up.” In her current role as our Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager, Erica is responsible for accounts payable, project billing and office coordination.

Specialist
Adriana joined our team in 2013 as our Human Resources Specialist. “I get excited when I recruit someone who later tells me our company has changed their life . . . and I love that I can contribute to company success by making a great hire on a key job.” Adriana is also the friendly voice that answers our phone and welcomes visitors to our office.
